Dashboard

The dashboard shows information about the number of recommendations and their potential savings, as well as a breakdown of your projected spending and what that could be if our recommendations were applied.

Recommendations

The recommendations table shows a summary of the current projected cost the savings to be had by accepting our recommendations. This summary may be optionally broken down by type or region.

Each row shows:

  1. The current cost; how much you are currently going to spend over the next 30 days on this item.

  2. Savings; how much money you can save over the next 30 days by making our recommendations.

  3. Recommendations:

    1. Performance; how many recommendations we have made based on performance. These will likely cost additional money.
    2. Neutral; how many items we think are currently in the best configuration.
    3. Cost; how many recommendations we have made based on saving money.

Cost Breakdown

The cost breakdown table shows a summary of the costs that make up a service. Please note that the service names come directly from the cloud provider (for example, AWS).

Each row shows:

  1. The cost, how much you are going to spend over the next 30 days on this item. If we have recommendations, then the second line will show our proposed cost.

  2. The breakdown, a horizontal breakdown of the spending in this service by type. Note that we will only break down services along types that we have recommendations for. If we have recommendations, then the second line will show our proposed breakdown.

If a bar represents something that we have recommendations for, you can click the bar to view those recommendations.
